Parking On-Campus

Whether you are commuting to or living on campus, knowing where to park your vehicle is an important part of your experience here at Utah State. With over 17,000 students regularly attending the Logan campus, parking can seem overwhelming; however, there are many options to consider that can make parking a pain-free experience!

Shuttle & Bus Services:

  • USU has a free transportation service that that is paid for by student fees call the Aggie Shuttle. The shuttles are environmentally-friendly, powered by natural gas. Each shuttle circles the campus throughout the day while classes are in session, bringing students, staff, and visitors to various campus destinations. The shuttles’ routes, stops, and real-time location can be tracked using the Aggie Shuttle Mobile App.
  • Cache Valley also provides a free bus service to residents and visitors in the area. The Cache Valley Transit has routes that service Utah State campus and beyond, going as far north as Smithfield and south into Hyrum.

Most students who live off-campus campus use a combination of these transportation options and couple them with their own use of bicycles, scooters, and walking to get around campus. Students who live on-campus will receive an email containing instructions on how to obtain their parking permit.

If you are interested in purchasing a commuter permit, pricing and information can be found on the Parking and Transportation Services website. Most students park at Maverik Stadium (yellow lot) and ride the Aggie Shuttle to campus each day. There are also permits available that allow you to park closer to campus for an additional cost, but these are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Check out the parking maps to familiarize yourself with what options are available.

On-campus residents can begin purchasing parking permits on July 1st and off-campus commuters can begin purchasing parking permits on July 7th.
