What to do First

The sign-up process for on-campus housing opens in October for the academic year and is ongoing. In order to sign up for on-campus housing, students must:

  1. Be admitted to Utah State.
  2. Have their enrollment deposit paid.
After completing steps 1 and 2, students must pay a separate $75 non-refundable contract fee and $200 security deposit ($275 total). This will be paid during the housing contract process and not beforehand.

    Building Selection

    Depending on when your student signs up for on-campus housing, they will either have same-day building selection or will choose their building at a later time. Review the sign-up process for dates and more details. NOTE: On-campus housing fills up quickly and spaces are not guaranteed.

    Cancellations & Refunds

    You may receive a refund of the $200 housing security deposit by canceling before the deadline.
